First stop New York. The Arts Student League is in NYC, and after three years in Vanuatu with not a life-drawing class to be seen, I was keen to knuckle down to some structural and concentrated figure drawing. I tried a few different teachers, and found Gregg Kreutz’s life drawing classes to be really helpful. I also attended other sketch clubs around the city.
